Infor ERP VISUAL Jobshop Premier excels in companies that manufacture items using either repetitive processes or custom procedures, and who have moderate stocking requirements. Premier edition customers are somewhat larger, product- or repair-focused companies that modify standard products or custom-build to the unique needs of each customer order.
The Premier edition includes all the manufacturing centric features found in the LT edition, plus; complete quoting and estimating, integrated scheduling, advanced planning and procurement tools, user authority control, tiered pricing for both suppliers and customers, advanced inventory management features such as lot and serial number tracking, dimensional piece control, automated labor tracking* and more.
In addition to Microsoft Access, the Premier edition natively supports both MSDE and SQL Server** databases which makes it more suitable for companies that require complex bill of materials and/or routings, larger concurrent user counts, improved performance and better security.

A minimum of 128 MB RAM is required, but at least 256 MB is recommended. VISUAL Jobshop requires 250 MB of hard disk storage for installation. Hard disk storage requirements will increase as your database grows. As with any mission critical information, routine database back-ups are strongly recommended.
*Hardware (bar-code scanners) and a separate stand-alone Labor Data Collection workstation capability are available options for the Premier edition.
